1998 Compassion Brooch
This stunning tri-colored Compassion brooch was the first in a series of three Signature Jewelry Annual Edition "Celebrate the Spirit" pins. Designed by Jean Petrocchi, it was introduced and retired in 1998.
Meticulously handset crystal pave on three colors of gold and rhodium plate, the Compassion brooch incorporates two traditional symbols of compassion ~ a bouquet of flowers and a ribbon ~ in clear, jonquil yellow and rose pink pave crystals. The pin is approx 2 3/4" high.
The back of the pin is inscribed with the year of issue and the designer's initials, and the distinctive Swarovski swan hallmark.
The Compassion brooch comes with its original, labelled, hinged white Swarovski jewelry box, no outer box or sleeve. The outside of the box does show some wear. Comes complete with the original Certificate of Authenticity brochure with more information about this pin.
