Swarovski: The Magic of Crystal

This gorgeous coffee table book would make a great gift for any Swarovski collector!

Written by Vivienne Becker and featuring stunning photos by John Bigelow Taylor, the book was published in 1995 to celebrate the company's first 100 years.

Lavishly illustrated with 82 plates in full colour and dozens of illustrations, this 160 page hardcover book is jam-packed with photos and information about Swarovski - the family, the company, the designers, the crystal, plus jewelry, fashion and so much more.

Covering the history of the company from its founding in 1895, including its entry into Paris couture in the 1920s and 1930s, through the introduction of the Silver Crystal animals in 1976, to the technical advances through 1995 when it was published.

Two copies are available.

One copy is brand new, still in its original publisher's shrinkwrap. The plastic shrink wrap shows some signs of shelf wear.

We have one lightly used copy also. The dust jacket shows signs of shelf wear but otherwise the book is clean and in excellent gift-giving condition. It appears to be a first edition.
