Swarovski SCS 1993 Elephant ~ Signed
The first edition of the "Inspiration Africa" trilogy, the Elephant was designed by Martin Zendron. Available only during 1993 to SCS members, then permanently retired and now very difficult to find.
This piece was hand-signed by the designer in Montreal in 2007, on his final signing tour. The signature is on the underside of the front left foot.
Measuring 4 3/8" long, the Elephant features a faceted and smooth clear crystal body with frosted tusks.
The Elephant comes complete with original box and COA.
The box lid is torn on two sides where it would normally go over the carrying handle (see photos). It appears that the foam was not in the box correctly when the owner tried to close the box, and the cardboard tore.
