Platonic Bodies Numbered Limited Edition (NLE)
The Platonic Bodies Limited Numbered Edition (NLE) was issued in
December 2003 to commemorate the grand opening of Swarovski's
Kristallwelten (Crystal Worlds) in Austria.
Only 1400 sets were produced, each with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity. This set is number 21 of 1400.
"All-powerful
nature has created five elements, which are aptly described as simple.
For however they are intermingled they align themselves properly with
each other."
The set consists of five 1" figures, each with
equal surfaces and equal edges, representing the five elements of nature
- fire, water, sky, air, and earth. The edges of each piece are a very unusual cut, highly detailed.
Brand new and never displayed, the five figurines are absolutely flawless, and come complete in the original special packaging with numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
This set has proven very difficult to photograph, the photos really do not do it justice.
